FENDI FRAGRANCES 2

Ahead of its centenary celebrations next year, the house of Fendi has made a foray into uncharted waters.

Enter the world of Fendi fragrances.

Taking you on an olfactory journey, the new scents by the Maison takes you through the history of Fendi from its roots as a Rome-based fur and leather goods shop which first opened its doors in 1925.

Founded by Adele Casagrande Fendi and her husband, Edoardo Fendi, 99 years ago, Fendi has become one of the most illustrious fashion houses in the world and this new step into the world of fragrance marks the next chapter in the Italian brand’s heritage.

Consisting of seven fragrances, the scents have been meticulously crafted to reflect the rich history of the Maison, with the close involvement of Fendi’s artistic directors, Kim Jones and Silvia Venturi Fendi, who is also a third generation member of the Fendi family.

“The fragrance collection tells the story of Fendi from another point of view. It expresses the essence of the Maison in a different way, by telling its story in a different language,” Silvia herself said. “Today, at Fendi, we can readily say that we have explored and used all the senses.”

From raw sandalwood to warm vanilla, each scent in the new fragrance line has a personality of its own. Fittingly so, as the legacy brand pulled in each member of the present Fendi family, alongside artistic director Kim Jones, for the formation of its new scent series. Infusing their memories, values and personhood into each bottle, the new Fendi fragrance line is a testament to the everlasting creative pioneering that the Fendi label spearheads.

Below, GRAZIA brings you a first look at the fragrances, which you can shop in the Middle East now.
