On Wednesday, September 1st, 2021, the 78th annual Venice International Film Festival took place in a city that’s truly one-of-a-kind. Venice holds a special place in our hearts and is filled with the uttermost inspiration and picturesque setting for creatives.
Each year the Venice Film Festival introduces groundbreaking movies around the globe, and this year the list included none other than Princess Diana’s biopic, Spencer and sci-fi epic Dune, making it the most highly anticipated event of the year.
From the moment stars set sail in the water taxi’s, the paparazzi were documenting every waking moment, giving us a sneak peek into the fun-filled week. For starters, there was the eternally stylish Zendaya in custom Balmain attending the premiere of Dune. Along with Raya Abirached showing off her Arab designed gown by Naja Saade, which featured a rather daring high-slit and off-the-shoulder detailing in the dreamiest sapphire tone – and that’s only scratching the surface when it comes to groundbreaking looks.
