As we welcome the cooler temperatures with open arms, we also seek the perfect outdoor environment. Sometimes, that doesn’t involve a beach or rooftop terrace; instead, it’s a desert setting with good coffee.
These pop-up cafés are not only a great place to hang out with friends but also offer the perfect backdrop for enjoying the pleasant outdoors. And it’s where you’ll find the GRAZIA team this winter season.
Not a Space
Nestled in Sharjah, NOT a SPACE, the coffee and creative concept space, is one of the OG desert concepts, offering a delightful annual winter desert café pop-up in the scenic Al Faya desert. Grab a sandwich, well blended coffee and spend hours deciding what delectable dessert to order. NOT a SPACE is known for hosting live performances by talented DJs, musicians and artists. Their opening date is still TBC. We’ll keep you updated when we know more.

One Degree Cafe
Head to One Degree in the afternoon and kick back at this popular desert café. A mere 45-minute drive from Downtown Dubai. Here, you can order piping hot coffee and indulge in bites from its Jumeirah menu, such as: burgers, hot dogs and campfire-inspired desserts. Be sure not to overlook the delightful marshmallow-infused hot beverages, adding to the cosy and inviting atmosphere of this desert haven.
Come for the traditional Arabian coffee experience and stay for the traditional music.
My Space
Embrace the enchanting desert surroundings and relish moments with friends at this picturesque destination. Bask in the glorious weather over coffee and cake, all set against the backdrop of an impressive fire show. This family-friendly locale has a dedicated play area for kids, adding to its appeal. Immerse yourself in the desert experience, take a ride on the resident camel, making it a perfect spot for winter memories with family and friends.

Link by Mara
Situated near Sharjah Sustainable City, Link by Mara is an exceptional desert café. While many desert cafés offer a limited menu, Link by Mara stands out with a wide range of pizzas, sushi, kushiyaki, and much more International street food. This cosy desert café is the perfect place to kick back for a late lunch or early dinner or dessert, with a welcoming setting. Their opening date is still TBC.
