Despite Taylor Swift penning The Tortured Poets Department track “So High School” after her whirlwind relationship with Travis Kelce, the latest controversy to face the couple is something straight out of a lunchtime drama. Indeed, a breakup contract detailing Kelce’s planned split from the singer has been circulating online after reportedly being leaked by the athlete’s PR team.
The document, titled “Comprehensive Media Plan For Travis Kelce’s Relations Following Breakup with Taylor Swift,” features the letterhead of his publicity company Full Scope, leading Swift to believe their year-long relationship has been nothing more than a stunt. The pages were leaked to Reddit and contain a purported “media strategy” and “key talking points” for Kelce following their alleged separation.
The rationale for their split was listed as being “both committed to their careers and personal growth. They remain friends and wish each other the best.” So, what’s actually the story here?

Overnight, representatives of Kelce have come forward to condemn the sheets of paper as made up. “These documents are entirely false and fabricated and were not created, issued or authorised by this agency,” a spokesperson on behalf of the Kansas City Chiefs player told the press. The source, who also happens to be from Full Scope, advised that the business had begun “to initiate proceedings against the individuals or entities responsible for the unlawful and injurious forgery of documents” and was working with the online forum’s legal team.
Swift first attended one of Kelce’s matches almost a year ago to this date. Since taking their relationship public, Kelce has frequently attended the 34-year-old’s Eras Tour and even made an on-stage appearance during one of her first performances in London. It’s also rumoured that Kelce has popped the question, with many fans believing the couple to already be engaged.
Swift will perform her final show on the billion-dollar grossing tour in December this year, where Kelce will seemingly be in attendance.
