M7 in Doha is reshaping the way in which the world sees fashion.
Led by Qatar Museums under Her Excellency Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, M7 has unveiled The Global Edit, a bold initiative designed to showcase Qatari talent and the region’s most innovative designers at the forefront of international fashion conversation.
The Global Edit offers customised advice, mentorship, strategic direction, and international exposure. Connecting designers with the ateliers of Paris, the catwalks of Milan, and the networks that will eventually shape the future of the industry. The selection process of the brands is careful not only because of creativity, but also, and more importantly, commitment to thoughtful and conscious design, reflecting the mission of M7 to fuse innovation with purpose.

The first season presents three labels, each with its own story. Tash & Ley, founded by Tasha Saradar with Lea Al Chaa, transforms everyday accessories into wearable art. Featuring beautiful, vivid silk scarves, while the off-cuts of the fabric are reconstructed into statement pieces, demonstrating that style and sustainability can coexist.
Gigeez, has reinterpreted the kaftan for the modern woman, blending Arab, Indian, and Japanese influences into effortless, relaxed silhouettes. Each item has been hand-made by local artisans, is designed with inclusivity in mind, and produced with minimal waste—a quiet revolution of ethical luxury.

Meanwhile, Tagreed Omer Couture brings haute couture into its sustainability era. Incorporating the technology of AI for design, alongside a zero-wastage craftsmanship all while creating timeless pieces in both technology and tradition.
At the heart of The Global Edit is more than a platform, it’s a statement: fashion can be beautiful, grounded in cultures, and made responsibly. As these designers emerge onto a world stage, their creations carry more than just their collection; they deliver Qatar’s vision, showcasing that innovation and tradition can go hand in hand and that it’s a platform for international influence.
