As a concept space that continues to champion regional creatives, Emirati owned Kulture House is joining forces with yet another, this time unveiling a pop-up with Lebanese artist Ihab Ahmad.

Illuminating the concept store’s space with exuberant colours, charterers and patterns, the Lebanese artist seemingly pulls from the depths of our childhood memories for creative inspiration. Exploring the heartaches of youth, while immersing viewers in dream-like vibrance, Ihab’s pieces are set to line the earthy walls of the renowned space until June 8, 2024.

Though the Emirati-owned space holds ground for his discography in its entirety, a narrower focus is given to Ihab’s latest nature-rooted collection.

Titled “The New Language of Art”, he sets out to showcase the second layer of beauty behind what the earth births. Relying on his signature geometric format and ubiquitous vibrance, he uses his regular trees, birds and fish doodles to peel back the small joys of life. From a neon yellow sporadic piece to a larger-than-life floating concept, each idea immerses you in the explorative charm of childhood play through a natural lens.
