The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia played host to the very first Billboard Arabia Music Awards 2024 (BBAMAs) last night, and it’s safe to say it was one for the books.
With the most famous faces in the region’s world of music stepping out on the red carpet, the first-ever BBAMAs paid homage to the Arab music industry in its entirety.
Featuring over 210 nominations for over 96 artists, it was a ceremony of celebration for the music industry across different categories including songs, songwriters, producers, composers and more.
Notable winners at the first-ever BBAA’s included Elissa, who won the Icon Award; Nancy Ajram who won for the Best Female Artist in the Levantine Song category of 2024; Abdul Majeed Abdullah, who took home three awards; Elyanna who won Best Arab Indie Artist award and the Best New Artist; and more.
Of course, with a star-studded awards ceremony came a star-studded red carpet which included all of the night’s nominees, as well as famous faces like Noor Stars, Amel Bouchoucha, Maguy Bou Ghosn and more.
