Skincare is one area of beauty that’s always evolving. Trends, ingredient innovations and new launches all dictate what we buy and what we use — not to mention our overarching philosophy when it comes to taking care of our complexion.

Facial cryotherapy is one such trend we’re expecting to see everywhere in 2022. What started as a facial icing trend on TikTok has boomed into an entire new category, from frozen facial serums to chilled tools and devices.

The idea with cryotherapy is using cold temperatures to stimulate lymphatic drainage and wake up the skin, improving circulation, reducing puffiness and waking things up. Once upon a time iced water would have sufficed, but since the trend has taken off we know have a plethora of tools and products at our disposal.
