The iconic duo has pioneered themselves not only as fashion icons but as renowned DJs and entrepreneurs with their latest venture, their makeup brand ‘SimiHaze Beauty,’ a brand that encapsulates their unique approach to makeup as a tool to express creativity rather than concealing flaws. The duo has always expressed their love for their culture and heritage, they have also previously utilised their platforms to raise money and awareness for Palestinians and educated their 1.6M followers on Instagram regarding current affairs in Palestine.
Most recently, Simi was spotted adorned in an outfit by Nafsika Skourti, a Jordanian-Greek designer with Palestinian origins. She captioned the story “Fit by Palestinian angel,” wearing a black tank top with a red flower print, the ‘Leo Top’ paired with vegan leather trousers that feature a slit on one side. Both pieces are from the brand’s Autumn/Winter 22 collection named Moon in Scorpio.
Nafsika Skourti is a Central Saint Martins graduate and Haute Couture embroidery trainee at the prestigious institute Ecole Lesage in Paris. Nafsika launched the brand in partnership with her sister Stephanie, who was a lawyer at Goldman Sachs prior to the launch of their joint venture. The clothing brand was founded in Jordan, with the mission to create meaningful collections that allows the masses to get a glimpse into their rich culture while simultaneously providing job opportunities for the underprivileged.
