Unwavering Support Of Her Mother

Sheikha Mozah has gone on to break many records throughout her career and has clearly had the support of her mother every step of the way. The young pilot recently shared a video of herself in tears as saw her mother aboard her first flight as a pilot in homegrown carrier, Emirates.

“My first passenger flight on Emirates at 19 years old,” she captioned the post which she shared with her 124,000 followers. “Mum kept her promise and came on my first flight. Unforgettable. Extremely grateful. I love you beyond words.”

On social media, Sheikha Mozah’s mother dedicates many posts to her children, to whom she shows constant love and encouragement. She accompanied her through every achievement and displayed the pride she felt for her daughter. On an Instagram post from 2017, she captioned, “Take small steps towards the right direction. No matter how small your steps, keep moving forwards towards your goal! أستودعك الله الذي لا تضيع ودائعه . Mozah’s first observation flight,” as her daughter boarded the Emirates observational flight.

Sheikha Mozah has been has a passion for flying since she was young. At the mere age of 17, she enrolled into Oxford Aviation Academy at Oxford Airport, in the U.K. as well Mesa Falcon Field Airport (Arizona) in the USA. She eventually went on to qualify as an Emirates pilot, becoming the first female Dubai royal to do so.

Becoming the first Dubai female royal to quality as a commercial pilot isn’t Her Highness’ only record-breaking achievement.
