After their Saudi 100 Brands exhibition in Paris Fashion Week June 2023, Saudi Arabia announced Riyadh Fashion Week (RFW).
From October 20 to October 23, 2023, 30 local brands will showcase their newest collection in the rising fashion capital. Located in the city’s heart, the season will commence in King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD), hosted by the Saudi Fashion Commission.
In line with the Kingdom’s initiative to continue expanding its fashion scene, they will host industry leaders, celebrities, buyers and more VIP guests. Amplifying the designers works through an in-person audience and live streaming the event, RFW is more than just showcasing the city’s top creatives. It’s an opportunity to add to the dialogue. To dismantle any and all barriers placed on the city’s bubbling creatives by showing the vast limitless energy of the Saudi-raised creatives.
From complex street wear labels like 1886 and Arwa Albanawi. To contemporary elevation brands like Yasmina Q and Abadia. RFW holds space for a range of design disciplines, styles and schools of thought. With every stitch and seam the visionaries rewrite their stories. Their stories of heritage, humanity and beyond. Of all the things RFW promises to be, their commitment to honouring fashion as a gateway to evolution and challenging the now, stands at the forefront.
