It’s confirmed, Gossip Girl icon Blake Lively and Deadpool star Reynold Reynolds welcomed their fourth child to the world. Since their union in 2012, the couple have been parents to three daughters: James, eight, Inez, six and Betty, three.
Reynolds loves being a girls dad, even though he grew up in a male-dominated household with three older brothers. He shared, in an interview with Access, “I have three daughters, which I never in a million years would imagine. I come from all boys. I have three older brothers. In a Tweet promoting his new series, Bedtime Stories With Ryan, the actor mentioned that “the idea for a show made to help everyone fall asleep was born the same day as my fourth child.” This was the first official statement that confirmed the birth of their new child.
During Lively’s early stages of pregnancy, Reynolds admitted on The Kelly Clarkson Show that he hasn’t prepared much for the new baby, “The first one, everything’s perfect and you set everything up, everything’s sterilised. By the fourth, you’re just like, oh, right this is happening,” he jokingly continues, “I should sweep or something.”

It was months ago in February that Lively revealed the absence of her baby bump in an Instagram post. Indeed, the baby is finally here, and we know that the couple has always wanted a big family. In April, Reynolds told ET Canada, “You know, two to three [kids] was a huge jump… three to four less so. I cannot speak for my wife, but it’s just from what I’ve observed. But, we love it. You know, we would be idiots to do this again if we didn’t love it.” He continued, “I come from [a family of] four, Blake comes from five.” It seems the couple is used to big crowds.
While the pair prefer to keep their kids out of the spotlight, the family of six were spotted during a visit to see Wrexham playing in Wales. In the picture, The Adam Project star can be seen carrying the new baby, but its gender still remains unclear. Some fans have speculated that it could be a boy, which explains why the two are being secretive and suspenseful. Other fans are hoping for the streak to continue with another baby girl.
