Always breathtaking, Victoria’s Secret Angel turned CEO, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, was at the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque yesterday.

She posted a carousel of stunning photos or herself and her Hollywood actor husband, Jason Statham, sharing them with her 19.6 million Instagram followers. Adhering to the sacred place’s dress code, she wore an elegant all-white ensemble while covering her hair in a silk white hijab.

Never one to shy away from hard conversations, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has pioneered the dialogue of self-image in beauty and beyond. She launched Rose Inc., which started as a beauty editorial platform before expanding into the makeup and skincare empire it is today. Now an internationally loved clean beauty brand, she sells sustainable vegan makeup for the everyday, no-makeup-makeup look.

“Such an honour to tour the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque whilst we were #InAbuDhabi” says the caption. A sentiment felt by many, as cultural tourism within the capital shows no signs of slowing down. From the Louvre to the Presidential Palace, Abu Dhabi has become a hot spot for travellers who want to immerse themselves in rich and diverse histories and cultures.

But Rosie isn’t the first A-lister celebrity to visit the magnificent place of worship. The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque was also toured by supermodel Naomi Campbell, earlier this year.

Built in 2007, the iconic grandiose structure currently stands as the largest mosque in the UAE and is famed around the world for its spectacular design and intricate details. Arabian Business announced that the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque has attracted 3.3 million visitors this year alone.

Always growing and evolving, the UAE is currently building its next awe-inspiring religious site, this time on the water. Established by the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department (IACAD), the world’s first floating mosque is coming to Dubai in 2024.
