Ramadan

In honour of The Holy Month, hotels in the capital have joined Retail Abu Dhabi and the Department of Culture and Tourism in their quest to provide UAE residents with an unforgettable Ramadan. Over seventy hotels will be offering Suhoor and Iftar experiences as well as half-board packages, vouchers and spa credit (and let’s be honest, we could all use a trip to the spa right about now).

Layali Ramadan also extends to shopping experiences with exclusive-to-the-emirate, limited-edition pieces dropping in your favourite stores – think Tory Burch, Max Mara, Sisley and D&G Beauty. Meanwhile, restaurants city-wide are creating Ramadan-exclusive desserts to treat your taste buds and your wallet; take advantage of 30 to 50 per cent off thanks to Layali Ramadan’s partnership with Zomato. Plus, the more you eat the more likely you are to win prizes! Now that’s a competition we can get behind.

Time Out is also joining in on the festivities with its Sweetest Thing dine-in campaign featuring over seventy restaurants – including Yamanote Atelier, Fifth Street Café and Sugar Factory – across Abu Dhabi and Al Ain. Fan of the ‘gram? Unleash your inner influencer and participate in a hashtag challenge where you can win a year’s supply of ice cream from The Brooklyn Creamery.

You didn’t think The Department of Culture and Tourism would leave out the beauty lovers, did you? In partnership with Retail Abu Dhabi, powerhouse beauty brand Benefit will be celebrating the launch of its exclusive Benefit Ramadan calendar with its first-ever Benefit Majlis at No57 café from 22 April to 6 May.

“The Layali Ramadan campaign is yet another invitation from DCT Abu Dhabi to the wider UAE community to indulge with unforgettable experiences available in the emirate during The Holy Month… It also demonstrates DCT Abu Dhabi’s ongoing commitment to continuously enhance the sector performance by creating offers that will encourage residents and visitors to further engage in a diverse range of leisure activities, ultimately supporting the continued economic recovery of the tourism industry,” says His Excellency Ali Hassan Al Shaiba, Executive Director of Tourism and Marketing at DCT Abu Dhabi.
