Rain and thunderstorms hit Dubai with a vengeance on Thursday afternoon.
And, as whenever a downpour arrives in the UAE, it makes for the perfect Instagram moment.
A spectacular moment during the storms was caught on camera by Sultan, a member of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum’s team.
In a video captured by Sultan, dark clouds and the storm engulf the Burj Khalifa. Suddenly, the world’s tallest building appears to be struck by lightning on its spire – the very top of the Burj Khalifa.
So far, the video has garnered over 140,000 views and over 10,000 likes. As we said, rain in the UAE really does make for a coveted Instagram moment.
