Aside from her commendable philanthropic pursuits, Queen Rania has firmly established herself as a paragon of style of the decade, if not the century. Whatever the occasion may be, the Queen of Jordan has the perfect ‘fit for it.

The queen’s keen eye for everything sartorial has proven to be the reason for the sheer elegance she exudes in every event and occasion, no matter how casual. From delicate laces to bold leathers, she rocks a modest look from which we can learn a trick or two. Her ability to experiment with a variety of shades, textures and silhouettes has us in awe. It’s fairly safe to say that this style icon has managed to have no bad looks so far.

GRAZIA brings you all of Queen Rania’s most cherished looks and her vast closet that features a plethora of luxury brands that have received her royal stamp of approval.

JW Anderson

Seems like the Queen of Jordan like most of us is a fan of the British fashion designers’ works. For an engaging event at the Middle East Global Summit, she wore a striking blue JW Anderson suit set that featured a blazer with a singular gold button with an asymmetrical silhouette and wide-legged trousers with a slit below the shin. To complete her outfit she wore blue pumps of a similar shade from Dior, a beige-toned bag from Loewe and a charming ring from Chaumet.

There’s no doubt that Queen Rania loves a good monochrome outfit moment. For the World Economic Forum’s initiative to fight climate change, she wore a royal red Gabriella Heart suit. A suit that was tailored for elegance. With its eye-catching shade and tailoring that was inspired by menswear. The outfit was complimented by a contrasting shade of browns with a bag from Delvaux and pointed pumps from Manolo Blahnik.

Benchellal

During a state visit to Tokyo, the style-maven royal wore a bespoke beige ‘Robe Manteau’ blazer dress from Benchellal, a brand founded by the Amsterdam-based Morrocan designer Mohamed Benchellal. The blazer dress features quite an interesting design that makes Her Majesty stand out even in a crowded room. The voluminous folded collar and tucked bracelet sleeves give the garment a unique look to it. Queen Rania being the style icon that she is, paired the outerwear with a gold belt with a bow-like detail from Marni and a brown braided leather bag from Fendi. The look also featured her trusted Apple watch, which we have seen her don on multiple occasions.

2023 marked a significant year for the Jordanian royal family. Queen Rania saw two of her beloved children get married in the most lavish ceremonies imaginable. To celebrate her now daughter-in-law’s henna party, the queen wore an elegant baby gown with dramatic sleeves, traditional embroidery and pleat details from Lebanese designer Saiid Kobeisy. She paired her look with minimal jewellery and makeup.

Brandon Maxwell

Like we’ve said before no matter what the occasion is Queen Rania makes sure to stay stylish. During her visit to the Jordan National Gallery of Fine Arts, she wore an olive green dress from American fashion designer Brandon Maxwell. This dress was complimented by suede heels of the same shade and a neon yellow bag from Loewe. To top off the look she sported a set of large dangly earrings and some cool shades.

Ermanno Scervino

Again, no pulls of a suited look better than the queen herself. Queen Rania sported a two-toned blue suit from the Italian fashion house Ermanno Scervino. The blazer’s two-toned buttons and a lighter shade of lapel tie the dramatic flair of the suit altogether. To complete her look she added a pair of white pumps. This look only further solidifies that every piece of clothing in her wardrobe is an absolute must-have.

Taller Marmo

Although she likes a good monochromatic moment, Queen Rania always makes sure to add little details that make the outfit stand out. For this instance, she picked out a stunning blue ensemble that features wide sleeves and a draped silhouette by Dubai-based brand Taller Marmo. She added a belt with silver detailing across her waist to add a little colour to the outfit. She also chose a blue clutch from L’Afshar and boots from Jennifer Chamandi.

Off-white & Khaite NY

Only Queen Rania can make a casual outfit look elegant. For her birthday lunch, the queen donned a casual fit to celebrate in an intimate setting with her closest friends and family. She wore a studded pair of straight-legged jeans from Khaite NY and paired it with a plain white tee and cropped jacket from Off-White.

Dolce&Gabbana

For Prince Hussein Al Abdulla and Princess Rajwa Al Hussein’s wedding reception, she wore a well-crafted dress from the Lebanese atelier Elie Saab. For the joyous occasion, she chose to champion a Middle Eastern designer, that is quite known for his designs embodying regalia. The dress involved intricate embroidery that featured countless embellished beads and fine detailing, followed by an asymmetric cape that trailed closely behind. She added accessories like her tiara and sash that denote her royal stature.

Tamara Ralph

For King Charles III and Queen Consort Camilla’s coronation, the ever-stylish Queen Rania wore a pale yellow midi dress from the luxury brand Tamara Ralph, who previously designed for Ralph & Russo. She looked rather elegant as she paired the dress with a pale yellow fascinator, white pumps from Jimmy Choo and a white Bottega Veneta bag that featured the brand’s signature intrecciato pattern.

Alessandra Rich

We can’t think of anyone who could’ve pulled this look off so effortlessly besides the Queen of Jordan. For the 2022 Web Summit in Lisbon Her Majesty wore a dazzling metallic tweed jacket from Alessandra Rich over a plain back top. Her ensemble also included a Bottega Veneta high-rise bootcut trousers that featured an exposed metallic zipper and cargo pockets on either side. All in all, adding a cool girl charm to the Jordanian royal.
