Our Grazia Girl Gang Ambassador for Body Positivity Dima Ayad is loving the meaningful conversations, genuine love, and appreciating every little detail during this extraordinary era-defining moment in history.
How are you finding the transition to a new way of working/life?
Challenging in parts like us all, and discovering new skills. I’m learning more about myself that’s for sure and changing my mindset about staying home.
What have been the biggest challenges?
The uncertainty that’s for sure, about our lives moving forward, my family and friends’ well-being, and the stability of our businesses.
What’s been the most pleasant surprise?
The joy in little things. It isn’t a coffee on-the-go anymore. It isn’t take out food, and it isn’t “I’ll call you back in 5.” It’s the meaningful conversations, genuine love, and appreciating every little detail.
What are your hopes for the future?
That this pause is making us think of doing things differently – to the better.
What message do you have for Grazia readers?
Trust the process and take it one day at a time. Literally for the first time in history, we are all united in this and we will come out of it stronger than ever before.
