On March 12, 2023, Her Royal Highness Princess Iman bint Abdullah of Jordan married her husband, Jameel Alexander Thermiotis, in what can only be described as an ethereal affair.

This week, the couple celebrated one year of marital bliss, sparking a surge of lookbacks and loving memories about the day.

The bride married the Venezuelan venture capitalist in front of friends and family, including her parents King Abdullah II and Queen Rania of Jordan.

The elaborate ceremony took place at the Beit Al-Urdon Palace in Amman, featuring a classic white colour scheme, huge floral displays, cathedral candles and ceilings covered with pleated, flowing fabric.

Upon her grand entrance on the arm of her brother, Crown Prince Hussein, the 26-year-old royal left onlookers in awe as she dazzled in a custom Dior creation. The elegant white gown featured intricate lace details and a floor-length veil that cascaded behind her. She completed the look with a glistening tiara by luxury jewellery house Chaumet.

To complement the fairytale bride, Queen Rania also donned Dior for the occasion, in a gown from their Autumn/Winter 2022 collection.

Soon after the nuptials, Her Highness shared images from the day on Instagram, penning a loving message in honour of her daughter. “Iman, I pray this next chapter in your life brings you as much joy, love, and laughter as you have brought us over the years. Congratulations to the bride and groom,” she shared on the platform.
