Striking and always in the zone for adventure, Dawid Godzeik, the 2024 slopestyle champion, has proved adrenaline, skill and style can seamlessly go hand-in-hand.

In the midst of ongoing collaborations between Prada and Redbull, the two brands have joined hands for another spectacle that spotlights BMXer Dawid’s flawless finesse with his bike.

Not only wearing functional and advanced textiles from Prada Linea Rossa’s performance wear, the Polish champion also cuts through the roaring winds of Upper Silesia, Poland, atop his bike on a moving train. A stunt many wouldn’t, dare it be said, try to do.

Though not entirely unfazed by 10 train carriages moving at a speed of 23km/h, Dawid’s 15 tries on a not-so-different track, proved his determination never wavered in the face of challenge.

When first taking in the look of the challenge set before him, the slopestyle champion said to Prada x Red Bull, “Riding a bike on top of a train isn’t something you practice every day.”

“The first static runs were fun,” he said. However, further alluding to the track’s intricacy, he remarked, “But I could tell right away, this is going to be harder than I thought.”

Notwithstanding the complexity, the biker still pushed his boundaries to perform his masterful techniques. So much so, that the Polish biker performed the world’s first flat drop backflip to a flat landing.

True to his dynamic skills and relentless determination, Dawid completed the high-adrenaline course all the while sporting Prada Linea Rossa’s high-performance wear which aided his mobility.

“It was a dream come true, but also a challenge to ride an MTB on top of a moving train,” he began. “The trickiest part was that the jumps were coming at me, and not the other way around.”

“[But] I’m stoked that we pulled off this project, and grateful for Red Bull and Prada’s support. I have to say that the Linea Rossa’s engineered garments really supported me in this accomplishment, which required total freedom of movement,” said Dawid Godziek.
