Since marrying her billionaire beau Carter Reum in November, Paris Hilton has been travelling the world for weeks on her honeymoon. Of course, any normal couple would be back home settling into married life by now, but when you’re talking about Paris Hilton—whose wedding lasted for three days and included a festival and six wedding dresses—a honeymoon isn’t simply a week-long affair.

Instead, the newlyweds are spending seven weeks flying to numerous luxurious Hilton properties, according to Hilton’s new honeymoon vlog series on her YouTube channel, that is.

Though you’d think the pair would have everything they could possibly dream for on their honeymoon, it turns out it’s missing one key thing: a movie theatre.

After a fan tweeted, “did you watch House of Gucci? Its not romantic at all but it’s very entertaining [sic],” in response to Hilton asking for movie recs on Twitter, the 40-year-old heiress replied in her signature accidentally hilarious fashion: “I want to watch it. But it’s only playing in Movie theatres and I’m on my honeymoon on a private island.”

Ah, Paris, don’t you know to pick private islands with movie theatres? We’ve all been there!

Naturally, the internet found Hilton’s response perfect, with one person replying, “this is the funniest possible response,” while another wrote, “a Private island with no movie theatre???: girl next honeymoon get a better island.”

There were also plenty of memes posted, including one of Paris wearing her infamous ‘Stop being poor’ vest, which the person commented “so true bestie ily” above. Of course, Hilton revealed on Tik Tok this year that photo actually photoshopped, but just like her, it’ll never stop being iconic.

Hilton and Reum married on November 11th 2021 with the bride wearing a stunning Oscar de la Renta gown for her ceremony. She later changed into an off-the-shoulder Gahlia Lahav dress for her reception, a Pamella Roland gown for her dinner and finally, a short, flirty party dress by Oscar de la Renta to finish the night in. Never change, Paris.
