Optimism and over-the-top luxe are two ways to sum up, F/W21 collections from Paris Couture Week. For the first time since the Pandemic, we’ve seen brands from Balenciaga to Elie Saab and beyond hosting an array of live shows and presentations to kick-start the new season. This Fall/Winter 2021 shows in Paris offered us a wide selection of beautiful accessories from headgear to jewels and statement belts.

Ahead, find the five standout trends from Paris Couture Week from fashion’s heaviest hitters.

1. Mix & Match Earrings

It’s safe to say that fashion rules were made to be broken, and broken they are. At Fendi’s Fall 2021 Couture show, we spotted nearly every model wearing a hammered mix-match set of earrings

2. Bows

CHANEL presented a wide selection of overly-chic bow ties styled with braided mohawk hair for an elegant look. By mixing in a touch of punk and CHANEL’s aura of feminity, it equalled an overly edgy yet chic touch for the everyday woman.

3. wide belt

While some designers continued to release thin-styled belts, others like Zuhair Murad and Alexandre Vauthier opted for a wider styled belt to kick start Couture week, ranging from embellished detailing to classic silver and gold. These minimalistic styles add the perfect touch of glam to any look.

4. brim hats

Hair accessories continue to be a strong trend for Spring, but this season designers have highlighted the most significant trend of them all, the oversized headwear trend. From CHANEL to Balenciaga and many more, we spotted some of the most luxurious and oversized hats strutting down the runways and giving us some hat-inspo.

5. statement necklaces

Chian links are beyond big this season, and by the looks of it, it seems like they’re not going anywhere. From bold necklaces to anklets and bracelets, this trend will be the perfect addition to any jewellery collection and the ultimate ‘wow’ effect to any look.
