Still today, decades after Pamela Anderson was on-screen as a blonde bombshell in Baywatch, the red one-piece swimsuit is synonymous with the actress. Proving she’s very much aware of her cultural pull, for the premiere of her tell-all Netflix documentary, Anderson opted for the same shade of red on the red carpet, wearing a bright beaded figure-hugging Naeem Khan dress in a nod to her original heyday.
Arriving at the L.A. premiere of Pamela: A Love Story, the documentary wherein Anderson can tell her story in her own words, following the release of Hulu’s contentious show Pam & Tommy last year, the 55-year-old Canadian-American actor, model and activist looked incredible in the floor-length design. Anderson paired the statement dress with red satin strappy sandals and diamond drop earrings, wearing her signature blonde hair pulled back into a messy bun, adding black eyeliner and pink blush to complete her beauty look.
Anderson, who also has a memoir, Love, Pamela, coming out this week, walked the red carpet alongside her and Tommy Lee’s son, producer Brandon Thomas Lee.
The documentary, which goes into Anderson’s early career and upbringing, also includes her whirlwind relationship with her son’s father, the Motley Crue drummer, who she famously wed on a beach in Cancun, Mexico, after spending only a few days together.
With a memoir, a documentary and this red dress on the red carpet, 2023 is shaping up to be Anderson’s comeback year. We love to see it.
