Founded by Palestinian-American Ahlam Khan in 2016, The Dirty Lamb is a clean skincare brand that marries beauty innovation with ancient Arabian wisdom via natural ingredients. Housed in small-but-mighty glass vitrines, the products – such as a soothing night serum infused with ylang-ylang, lavender and orange and a scrumptious apricot cleansing oil – have won devotees on both sides of the Atlantic. SIMIHAZE BEAUTY
Created by the multi-hyphenate twinfluencers Simi and Haze Khadra, Simi Haze Beauty – their eponymous beauty brand – launched in 2021 with an oft-sold-out range of EYE PLAY Sticker Books – colourful wings and liners that are incredibly easy to apply and much more grown-up than they sound, promise. The brand has since expanded to include a range of skincare-infused stackables and palettes, designed with minimal fuss and maximum output, all housed in bright, sculptural packaging. Palestinian sisters Eman and Dina Al-Sherif founded luxury skincare brand Toulane Essentials based on their love of the Nabulsi soap they grew up with, while being heavily inspired by their grandparents’ use of essential oils.
