In an unexpected but very welcome twist, 2022 is shaping up to be the year of Nicole Kidman.
After a viral Miu Miu mini skirt moment, in which she was photographed wearing the infamous set on the cover of Vanity Fair at the very time it was breaking the internet, Kidman was, once again, all over social media when she made a surprise cameo on the Balenciaga Haute Couture runway in July, alongside Dua Lipa and Kim Kardashian.
Now, just one month later and she’s back at it in perhaps the most jaw-dropping event yet: for the cover of Perfect magazine, Kidman poses in a Diesel micro mini and halter tank — already the makings of an iconic photo — with her long copper hair styled with a front blunt chop and long at the back.

Naturally, the internet quickly went into meltdown mode with fans practically begging for the 55-year-old Australian actress to drop her workout routine.

Kidman last showed off her body during the aforementioned Miu Miu moment, wherein her abs were on full display. At the time, the photo caused controversy with people deeming the set not age-appropriate (yawn). Kidman later revealed the magazine had other looks laid out for her but that outfit specifically was of her own choosing (j’adore).
Other photos from this current spread show her modelling a naked dress, wearing thigh-high patent boots, and lying on the floor in all-denim ensemble reminiscent of the iconic matching wardrobes Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake wore to the 2001 American Music Awards.
