On Monday evening in Los Angeles, Nicole Kidman and Anya Taylor-Joy reunited on the red carpet for the premiere of their new film, The Northman.
Wearing a custom-made gold Prada gown for the occasion, which featured a floral embellished skirt and pink-feathered shoulders, Kidman looked every bit a movie star. She kept her beauty look relaxed so as not to distract from her dress, pulling her long hair back into a chic low bun and matching her peach coloured hair to her lips. On her feet, she wore simple black sandals which matched the black turtleneck popping out the top of her dress.

Kidman’s plus one for the night was her husband, Keith Urban, who wore an all-black suit and packed on his signature PDA for his wife. But despite the display of Hollywood #couplegoals, the real red carpet moment was when Kidman was joined by her co-star Anya Taylor-Joy for photos.
The actresses, clearly good friends, posed arm in arm, with Taylor-Joy opting for a white Dior halterneck gown and a Tiffany collar, pulling her blonde hair back into a Viking-style braid.

Also at the premiere was the film’s lead actor Alexander Skarsgård, as well as British actress Florence Pugh, who wore a cut-out black mini dress and knee-high boots.
In The Northman, an epic Viking action film that comes out later this week, Kidman plays Queen Gudrúnthe, the mother of prince-turned-slave-turned-warrior Amleth (Skarsgård). After the duo starred together on Big Little Lies, Skarsgård revealed he convinced Kidman to join the cast of the movie. “Nicole was probably expecting me to suggest a rom-com,” he told GQ last week. “And instead I’m, like, “Hey! Do you wanna play my incestuous mum?”‘ Okay!
