The Museum of the Future’s long-awaited opening has finally taken place, not to mention on the very special date of 22nd of February (22.02.22). This landmark falls nothing short of beautiful from a fascinating exterior to modern interiors, it’s no shock so many flocked to be the first to enter its doors for the grand opening. His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum launched an unforgettable light show for this historical moment, as the new iconic landmark begins its forever story in the region, bringing remarkable experiences for the public to enter a world of the future.
The museum is to offer the best of Arab excellence in maths, science, art, theatre and history, boasting seven floors each dedicated to a particular subject in ‘an expansive environment to engage all the senses.’
The landmark incorporates three elements; the green, the hill and the void. Another distinct and mesmerizing feature of the building is a three-figure statue in honour of Sheikh Mohammed that represents love, win and victory.
The impressive opening exhibition is now open for exploration, between 10am-6pm daily showing an insight into the future of 2071 and the many possibilities in the 50 years to come.
