Mona Kattan

Mona Kattan defines self-care as encompassing the spiritual, physical, mental, and emotional aspects of your life and according to the Global President and Co-Founder of Huda Beauty “You can’t neglect a single one of them.”

Tell us more, Mona…

“So, I’ve been meditating for a long time. I pray also. I try to pray five times a day, but I think just prior and thinking about all the things you have to be grateful for, it attracts more amazing things into your life and I know for myself, personally, every time I do this, my life is always on track and every time I stop, I just somehow everything just goes haywire.”

The creator of the Kayali fragrance empire continues, “I get massages, too. I love getting massages, that’s a ritual. I need to get a massage once a week and I train, five to six times a week.”

However there’s good news for those without Mona’s stamina – and presumably glutes – of steel. “I also think beauty and perfume is a big part of self-love. For me, putting on my fragrance during the day, I feel like that’s self-love and I even wear it to bed. That’s a self-love ritual for me because it makes me feel good when I go to sleep. It makes me feel sexy, it makes me feel like I’ve invested in myself.”
