The Middle East Fashion Week (MEFW) is returning for its second edition this November at The Agenda, Dubai Media City, followed by the resounding success of its premiere event last March. Organised by The Middle East Fashion Council (MEFC), this bi-annual event aims to foster connections between key players across the fashion industry in Dubai–one of the leading luxury retail capitals in the Middle East.

Designers, buyers, media, fashion enthusiasts, and more are encouraged to come together to enjoy and participate in the events, starting with MEFW’s opening ceremony on November 7th. Over the course of four days, it will host critical discussions on fashion sustainability led by expert panellists from the Middle East Sustainable Fashion Forum, as well as fashion presentations at “MEFW Showrooms” and catwalks by designers from the MENA region and foreign fashion entities. The event is capped off with a closing party on the 10th of November to celebrate the impending success of the second MEFW.

MEWF is aligned with the MEFC’s ongoing dedication to growing a robust network of actors across the fashion industry in the Middle East. Attendees are presented with the opportunity to build meaningful connections as part of a growing ecosystem that will promote the fashion economy in this luxury retail capital. The event is also a commercial platform that operates as a stage for fashion designers to spread their work to business acumen at MEFW and strike opportunities for growth within the market. From now until the 10th of November, designers are encouraged to submit their work to the MEFW to be considered as part of the event alongside legendary fashion designers, like Ezra Santos of Ezra Couture. To register for inclusion, follow the guidelines on MEFW’s website here and stay up to date on all things MEFW by following the event’s Instagram here.
