The upcoming fashion events will last five days and will take place at The Agenda, Dubai Media City, where a prestigious line-up of regional and international designers will also be showcased.

“After this long period of distance with the pandemic, we are finally able to meet again at MEFW! I am happy and proud to be part of the MEFW inaugural edition in Dubai after the spectacular Gala Dinner held last December. The feeling of hope and beauty is stronger than ever, and I can’t wait for all of you to discover The Atelier Couture collection which we have created with the discerning clientele of the region in mind. It will be showcased for the first time during MEFW,” says Professor Choo, who is looking forward to his travel to Dubai.

“We are honoured to bring to Dubai The Atelier Couture by Professor Jimmy Choo. Our sincere thanks to Professor Choo and CEO Mr. Yew. We look forward to receiving them in Dubai and to a collection that most certainly will elate our audiences,” says Simon J Lo Gatto, Founder and CEO of the Middle East Fashion Council.

Middle East Fashion Week will commence the event by co-hosting a Gala Dinner by the Better World Fund, “a philanthropic organisation based in Paris.” Three full days of fashion will follow, featuring showrooms, talks and an exclusive experiential atelier. On the last day, a VIP luncheon will be held exclusively for VIP guests.

In addition, the Sustainable City will co-host a 5-day long program called Sustainable Fashion Forum on March 27th. The goal is to gather prominent leaders in the industry and address partnerships for sustainable fashion.

“As part of our commitment at The Sustainable City, to lead the way towards a net zero carbon future, it is important for us to partner with organisations outside of real estate. The fashion industry holds the power to influence people around the world and by supporting the first Sustainable Fashion Forum, we hope to be the catalyst for worldwide change in mindsets towards a fully sustainable way of life,” says Faris Saeed, Chairman of Diamond Developers, developer of The Sustainable City.
