The Emirates most beloved singer, Balqees Fathi, is getting her very own waxwork at Madame Tussauds in Dubai.

The famous attraction was first founded in London in 1835 by French wax sculptor Marie Tussaud. Ever since she has expanded her company globally with over 20 countries showcasing a Madame Tussaud Museum, the celebrity hot-spot is now expanding to the Middle East and will be opening soon in Dubai. Balqees Fathi will join Kylie Jenner, Victoria Beckham and many more A-list celebrities and their iconic wax figures.

Yesterday, the unveiling took place at Caesars Palace on Bluewater’s Island, where we saw a closeup of the Emirati-Yemini singers’ statue. Clearly impressed by the results, Fathi shared a preview of her lookalike with her 11.5 million Instagram followers. She was overly excited and thrilled with the result. For the event, Balqees wore a Taller Marmo Piccolo Ubud one shoulder tassel dress from the Resort 2021 collection, paired with diamond earrings and black pointed-toe heels. For beauty, Fathi opted for her signature makeup look consisting of a subtle yet smokey eye and her go-to half-up half-down pony, which her wax figure embodied.

Earlier this week, we spotted the singer hosting her latest concert in Cairo, where she debuted her newest single ‘Jabbar.’ The show was filled with joy, love and soulful music, leaving the crowd singing along and enduring on a night to remember.

Fathi’s look was styled by MA Fashion & Media Consultancy. Her wardrobe consisted of a stunning soft pink Georges Chakra gown, with bedazzled peek-a-boos throughout her silhouette. For Balqees glam, Cairo-based makeup artist Dina Ragheb opted for warm and pink-infused makeup with a smokey eye and glossy lip matching seamlessly with her dress. When it came to hair; Fathi’s look was sleek and wavy with her hair parted to the middle.
