In a dazzling display of their artisanal heritage, Louis Vuitton has crafted bespoke medal trays for the winners’ podium. Drawing on over a century of exquisite craftsmanship, the Maison has reimagined their historic Damier canvas for this prestigious event.
These bespoke trays, created by Louis Vuitton’s artisans at the Beaulieu-sur-Layon workshop in the Maine-et-Loire region, will hold medals designed by the renowned French jeweller Chaumet, showcasing French savoir-faire for this unforgettable event.
The medal trays feature lined matt black leather, echoing the interiors of Louis Vuitton’s Torches and Medal Trunks. This luxurious touch is part of the prestigious bespoke collection made exclusively for the Paris 2024 Olympics.
Antoine Arnault, LVMH Image and Environment, remarked, “The medal trays embody the ambition we have pursued since the very start of our partnership with Paris 2024. Through this contribution to the Victory Ceremonies, we are showcasing the work of our artisans and the organisations with which we collaborate, adding a special touch to this historic moment for the athletes.”
In addition to these exquisite trays, the French Maison’s parent company, LVMH, has designed an unapologetically fashionable ensemble for the 515 medal bearers.
Celebrating the Olympics in Paris, athletes across various sports will don outfits that honour France’s rich history and cultural heritage. These ensembles include a classic cream-white polo with an emblem etched on the collar, roomy pants, and a traditional gavroche cap—a nod to the 1920s silhouette.
These 600 outfits align with the LVMH group’s commitment to luxury, inclusivity, and sustainability, featuring 100% eco-designed materials that reflect a harmonious blend of style and environmental consciousness.
