When it comes to private celebrity couples, Leighton Meester and Adam Brody easily make the top ten. It’s pretty understandable – our teen celebrity crushes got together in the end, we’re all a bit too obsessed with them.

Brody and Meester have been together for 12 years, having met in 2010 on the set of The Oranges. They got engaged in 2013 and married in private the following year. Since then, they’ve kept a super low profile – they now have two children, a daughter named Arlo Day and a son whose name is yet to be revealed (see, we told you they’re private).

While both stars still walk red carpets from time to time, they rarely appear together. However, last night Brody’s new mini-series Fleishman Is In Trouble had its New York City premiere, and the couple posed for plenty of snaps.

Meester wore vintage Prada for the event – a deep chocolate velvet gown from the fashion house’s fall 2000 collection, which W Magazine says was discovered by her longtime friend and stylist Jamie Mizrahi via Tab Vintage. She teamed the gown with a half-up style and gold strappy slingbacks.

Fleishman Is In Trouble is an adaptation of the novel by the same name, written by then-New York Times staff writer Taffy Brodesser-Akner. It follows Toby (played by Jesse Eisenberg), a recently divorced man in his 40s who is entering the online dating scene for the first time. However, when his ex-wife disappears, he has to revisit the story of their relationship to work out what really happened.

Brody plays Seth (yes, another Seth!), one of Toby’s closest friends. The series also stars Bridesmaids alum Lizzie Caplan, Clare Danes and Christian Slater.

Meester has also been busy in the television space. She starred in The Weekend Away, a Netflix thriller, before appearing in the How I Met Your Mother spin-off, How I Met Your Father, and sci-fi series The Orville.
