The very first ever KSA Women Excellence Awards, held by Arabian Business, is created to honour and appreciate Saudi Arabian women that are paving the way for their peers in their esteemed fields. The awards will acknowledge women through a different series of sectors from media to medicine to government. There will be a judging panel that is going to focus on finding leading women that aim for female empowerment in the work field, as well as showcase talent and cohesion in the business world.
The main initiative is the support of the advancement of women within the work field, in efforts that demand the commitment of an entire society. Arabian Business hopes to pave the way for other institutions to promote the achievements of females.
The gala dinner will be on March 21st, where there will be a presentation of the esteemed winners. Women have the option to be nominated by their colleagues or by the company they work in. Nominations will be closed on March 1st and the finalists will be revealed by the judges on March 8th, International Women’s Day.
The gala dinner is in effect to become an outstanding event that promotes the unification of the female work field. It’s to help invent a supporting system and build a community for women, to help them thrive in their endeavours. The work field in the Kingdom was previously a male-dominated area, in which women had to fight their way to the top, but with the Kingdom changing severely in the past few years, women are taking their rightful places amongst society.
