Kendall Jenner often opts out of the international fashion week circuit due to her travel anxiety, but for NYFW the model made a return to both the runway and the front row for some of her favourite brands. After walking Proenza Schouler’s show, Jenner sat front row at Marni, before hitting some New York hotspots with her NBA-playing boyfriend Devin Booker along for the ride.
The pair were spotted heading out for the evening with Jenner wearing another of Jonathan Anderson’s designs for Loewe: a black and white balloon-print dress in a similar cut to the tie-dye iteration she wore earlier this summer by the brand. The 26-year-old wore a matching silver bag and paired her beauty look, too, with silver eyeshadow and glossy lips, while wearing a pair of black boots on her feet. She pulled her hair pulled back into a middle-part tight up-do with plaits.
Jenner and Booker, who were rumoured to have broken up earlier this summer, made the most of the trip, heading to the US Open on Sunday to sit courtside. Jenner stuck to her signature The Row-esque minimalist approach to dressing, wearing a white shift dress with a blue cap and blue knit over her shoulders (perhaps from friend Gigi Hadid’s new cashmere line, Guest in Residence?).
On her feet, Jenner wore a pair of open-toe sandals, adding statement gold earrings in her ears and pulling her hair back into another plait.
It’s unclear whether Jenner will join the likes of Bella Hadid for shows in London, Milan and Paris, but one thing’s for sure: if she does, her suitcase will be made up of chic, minimalist designs with a bit of Loewe thrown in for good measure.
