Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom are one of the thousands of couples who had to postpone their wedding due to the COVID-19 pandemic. After getting engaged in February 2019, the couple had initially hoped to get married in Japan in the summer of 2020, before the pandemic forced them to pull pin on their plans.

But if recent photos are anything to go by, it looks like the pair might have finally been able to tie the knot. Rumour has it, the singer and actor held a secret low-key wedding in Hawaii, where they’ve been with their six-month-old daughter, Daisy, as well as Bloom’s 10-year-old son, Flynn, for the past month.

Yesterday, while out in Hawaii, Page Six shared photos of Perry spotted wearing a gold band on her wedding finger, where her flower-shaped engagement ring usually sits. The photos sent the internet wild with speculation about whether or not the singer is a newly married woman, however neither Bloom nor Perry has confirmed the reports.

“It was all set for Japan with 150 guests. Katy was actually really excited about walking down the aisle pregnant,” a source told People of the couple’s initial wedding plans. “They were both so elated that all the wedding details were finally coming together, but they are hitting pause because of coronavirus.”

As she got further along in her pregnancy, Perry said that her focus shifted—she wanted to spend all her energy on delivering a healthy baby—plus, the ongoing lockdowns made it hard to plan for anything.

“You can’t plan anymore in 2020 because those plans are always cancelled. We just want to deliver a healthy child,” she said at the time to The Mirror. “Everyone has to take life one week at a time right now. Obviously, that will happen in the future, but for now we just want to deliver a healthy child. And that’s what’s coming up right now!”
