Whispers and divorce rumours have long followed Hailey and Justin Bieber throughout the entirety of their relationship, but now the murmurings have grown louder following some hints at trouble in paradise. Seven years after tying the knot, and just months after welcoming their first child together, the couple are reportedly “struggling” to keep their marriage afloat.
According to sources, tensions are mounting behind closed doors. Justin, 31, is said to be “irritated” by what he perceives as Hailey’s preoccupation with optics. “He feels like Hailey can be superficial about the way their relationship looks in the public eye,” a source revealed to Entertainment Tonight. Meanwhile, Hailey, 28, is reportedly frustrated by her husband’s “lack of motivation.”
“Their friends think they can salvage their marriage—and they both want that—but right now things are not good,” the source added.
The latest reports follow weeks of intensified speculation. Hailey, who just made a landmark business deal with her company, Rhode Beauty, was recently spotted without her wedding ring in New York while out with friends. Though it reappeared, its timely absence sent fans into a frenzy. Justin has also been raising eyebrows, with many reading into some of his more cryptic social media posts. Following his wife’s ringless outing, the singer reposted a viral video hinting at a feud.
“If you’re giving me the silent treatment, at least tell me why,” the video quipped. He also admitted, in a raw moment shared on social media, “I know I’m broken. I know I have anger issues.”
And yet, Hailey remains publicly defiant, calling out the relentless scrutiny in her recent Vogue cover story interview, published in May.
“You would think after having a child, people would maybe move on… but no,” she said of online speculation. “So I guess these bitches are going to be mad.”
