If, like us, you’ve been seen Coachella all over your FYP – from the fashion to the parties to the music – you’ll know doubt have seen Justin Bieber’s return to the stage, marking his first major live performance in over four years.
True to Bieber form, the performance wasn’t quite what anyone expected, particularly for Coachella, which is known for high production, lively performances. Instead, the singer took an unconventionally intimate and nostalgic route which saw Bieber perform a slew of his new songs from his latest album SWAG , as well as a throwback to some of his most popular tracks including ‘Favorite Girl’, ‘Stay’, ‘Never Say Never’, ‘Beauty and a Beat’ and more.
The overall performance has divided opinion with some criticising the lack of production, while others applauded the raw approach to Bieber’s return to the stage.
But what’s got the GRAZIA team talking is some of the 31-year-old’s fashion choices – namely his jewellery.
Throughout his performance, while it was would be difficult to see to the naked eye, Justin was rocking a custom pair of earrings by a Lebanese jewellery designer, Nadine Ghosn.
Close-ups of the design were unveiled by Nadine herself on Instagram, which revealed Justin was wearing a pair of small hoop earrings – or “slinkies” as she describes – in a custom rainbow design.
“No words, always feel an abundance of gratitude to see our pieces worn and loved,” she captioned.
Nadine and her eponymous brand have built up quite the cult following over the years as the Lebanese designer has become well-known for, as what she describes as “the modern everyday” pieces which always have a playful and whimsical twist.
What exactly is that playful and whimsical twist?
Case in point: her Veggie Burger ring really put her on the map. Designs that followed included crayon-inspired bracelets, cutlery-inspired rings and bracelets, Lego-style building block rings and more. Familiar items all turned 18-carat gold and gemstone fine jewellery.
As well as Justin Bieber, Nadine has attracted quite the roster of A-list clients including Drake, Beyonce, Pharrell, Ed Sheeran and more.
