51-year-old musician and actress Jennifer Lopez is set to star in a sci-fi thriller, Atlas. The plot reveals the story of a woman who must go up against an AI solider that believes the key to ending war is to end humanity, and of course – finding herself facing her fears, miss Jenny from the block has to go up against AI’s to save the world. The Netflix film will be directed by Brad Peyton, who’s executed some of the top-rated sci-fi thrillers like “Rampage” and “San Andreas“.
“Having the chance to direct Jennifer in the title role of this movie is a dream come true, as I know she’ll bring the incredible strength, depth and authenticity we’ve all come to admire from her work,” shares Peyton.
Jennifer took to her social media to share a photo of the script for the Netflix movie, writing, “Can’t wait for this! ❤️ #Atlasmovie is coming to @Netflix!!!”
Jennifer is currently over the moon with her latest role, sharing, “I am excited to announce my new partnership with Netflix.
