2021 is looking up already! We shared the news of a potential SATC reboot two weeks ago as rumours were swirling in Hollywood that the gang were back together, however it has now officially been confirmed by the cast!
Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kristen Davis posted the teaser trailer on Instagram, sharing that the revival will be called And Just Like That… . It will be streamed exclusively on HBO Max and is said to “follow Carrie, Miranda and Charlotte as they navigate the journey from the complicated reality of life and friendship in their 30s to the even more complicated reality of life and friendship in their 50s.” Kim Cattral will not be reprising her role as Samantha – not only has she expressed no desire to return to the character in the past, but her rumoured beef with SJP probably had something to do with the decision, too.
And Just Like That… will be a ten-episode series and will begin filming in New York later this year.
