With a guest list made up of some of the world’s most stylish people in one of the world’s most stylish cities, choosing what to wear to the British Fashion Awards is surely no easy feat.
While some chose to hero up-and-coming designers, such as Bridgerton‘s Simone Ashley in 16Arlington, Paloma Elsesser in Dilara Findikoglu, and Rita Ora in Nensi Dojaka, others, such as Irina Shayk, proved that high street can also be red carpet worthy.
Stepping out in London for the second night in a row, the model opted to wear a floor-length sequin gown by H&M to the event at the Royal Albert Hall on Monday night. Shayk’s dress, which is part of the Swedish brand’s sustainable collection, was strapless, and featured a tight bodice and accentuated waist.
She paired the look with some low-key brown suede flats and wore her brunette hair in loose waves with heavy, Julia Fox-approved winged eyeliner by celebrity makeup artist Isamaya Ffrench.
Recently, Shayk has been in the headlines after being spotted spending time in New York City with her ex-partner Bradley Cooper, with whom she shares a five-year-old daughter, Lea De Seine.
The pair, who initially began dating in 2015 broke up in 2019 after four years together. But after Shayk posted a photo showing them holidaying in the Bahamas together earlier this year, prompting questions about reconciliation, they have continued to publicly hint at things going that way.
Furthermore, after they were seen with their arms around each other’s waists while on a walk last month, a source told People they “have both been single and started hanging out more together.” They added, “Irina is very happy to spend time with Bradley. She very much loves him.”
