It is difficult to determine the exact success rate of Indian Matchmaking since the show did not follow up with the couples after filming but the show doesn’t have a high success rate in terms of marriage. We met the pharmaceutical developer from North Carolina in season two of Indian Matchmaking. After rejecting two proposals, Sima Aunty matched her with Aashay Shah, an optometrist from New York. The couple still seem to be together.

Although the New Jersey native met Niraj Mehta through her sister, she says she couldn’t have done it without Sima Aunty’s push to open her heart again. After seeing the short clips of the couple’s romance blossoming throughout the show, fans have concluded that it is one of the most promising in the entire series. It rings true since they seem to be still together.
Sima Aunty’s matchmaking may not have a high success rate but if anything, it seems she is a great friendship matchmaker.
