The Dubai-based makeup brand Huda Beauty just came out with its latest and most colourful palette yet, Color Block, inspired by TikTokers and the raging colour block trend that has been plastered all over our ‘for you’ pages. This new launch is about to be everywhere and here is an exclusive insight on how to get your hands on it.
The shades in these palettes are fun, bright, electric, and versatile enough to suit all skin tones. Not only are the colours must-haves, but the texture is creamy, smooth, and blends incredibly well. Thanks to Huda’s new formula, these palettes are multi-purpose and can be used as eyeshadows, as well as an eyeliner by wetting a liner brush and dipping it into the shadow pan.
Below, make up artist Dafine Neziri takes us through a tutorial of how she created a bold yellow look.
The nine colours in the palette are diverse and include bright mattes, sheer metallics, foil metallics, and duo metallic eyeshadows that are multi-toned, providing you with 10 colours instead of nine.
“My team and I really wanted to create a fun color story of contrasting punchy colors and gorgeous textures, and we did just that with our Color Block Obsessions palettes. Both palettes are packed with energetic and super versatile colors that can take you from a low-key pop of color to a high-key graphic look on your lids. The palettes are loaded with our OG mattes that blend so seamlessly and on the lids with a non-powdery flawless finish,” says Huda.
This launch consists of two new electric palettes to choose from, the Orange & Purple Color Block Obsessions and the Blue & Green Color Block Obsession, but you’re probably going to want to get them both. The Orange & Purple Color Block Obsessions is made up of bright purple, orange, and yellow tones. The Blue & Green Color Block Obsession consists of various shades of blue and green tones.
But that is not all, to help you achieve the perfect look, Huda Beauty has also come out with an exclusive brush set to help you achieve the ultimate eye-catching look, along with an electric blue mascara to get out of your comfort zone, and an intense and precise liquid liner to finish off the look with a signature wing.
