Soon after the successful launch of UAE’s first COVID-19 drive-through testing centre in Abu Dhabi, built by the Abu Dhabi Health Services company, SEHA with the directives of Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, the UAE government had announced that several more centres will be built across various Emirates.

In less than two weeks, a total of 13 additional drive-through testing centres are now open countrywide. Each facility is well-equipped and consists of 630 qualified healthcare workers who have been thoroughly trained to conduct COVID-19 tests on drive-through patients in under five minutes.

Abu Dhabi now has five operational drive-through testing centres which are located in Al Wathba, Al Bahia, Al Dhafra and Zayed Sports City. Two additional centres are scheduled to launch in the region soon. All centres in the Emirate are capable of conducting 600 tests per day and will be open from 8am to 12pm, and again from 4pm to 8pm from Sunday to Thursday and Saturday.

In Dubai, SEHA has now opened two drive-through testing centres, one in Al Khawaneej and one in Port Rashid. These centres are operating from 10am to 6pm from Sunday to Thursday, conducting up to 500 tests per day.

SEHA has also launched one drive-through testing centre in each Emirate of Sharjah, Ajman, Fujairah, Umm Al Quwain and Ras Al Khaimah. These centres are operating from 10am until 6pm from Sunday to Thursday. Similarly to Dubai, they are conducting up to 500 tests per day. Additionally, Al Ain now has two drive-through centres that are able to conduct 600 tests per day and are operating from 8am until 8pm Sunday to Thursday.
