The Grazia Playlists series started life during lockdown to give Dubai a reason to keep dancing and spotlight our community’s most-talented DJs with a series of mixes to keep you moving until the day we can be reunited on the dance floor for real. Following the success of Volume 1, it’s back with the second series of DJs put forward by their contemporaries from the creative community.
Nominated by Grazia Playlists alum DJ Bliss, Egyptian-born Mohammed Serour is known by many aliases – among them Arab Trap Boss and DJ Kaboo. He also happens to be Rihanna’s favourite Dubai DJ – he played at the Fenty Beauty party at Armani Hotel when the songstress launched her make-up range in the emirate.
For the playlist he’s curated exclusively for Grazia, DJ Kaboo reveals he plans to take us on worldwide musical adventure: “Top El Top – DJ Kaboo X Grazia is literally a mix of cultures from North Africa to the streets of Cairo, Sudan to India, and across the globe.
