The Grazia Playlists series started life during lockdown to give Dubai a reason to keep dancing and spotlight our community’s most-talented DJs with a series of mixes to keep you moving until the day we can be reunited on the dance floor for real. Following the success of Volume 1, it’s back with the second series of DJs nominated by their contemporaries from the creative community, curated by Grazia Girl Gang Ambassador for Music Megatronic.
Kicking off Grazia Playlists Volume 2 is the Nigerian-born, Dubai-raised producer and DJ, 1takeNnandos aka Nnamdi Eluwah, put forward by Megatronic herself. “I’m on a mission to make the world dance and to get four Grammys down the road,” he declares. “I also have a nice bum if that’s of relevance to anyone.” Grazia will be the judge of that.
Nnamdi’s message for Grazia readers? “COVID-19 has shown us how your world can be turned upside down just like that. Life is very short, enjoy yourself, play my mix at a loud volume, and drink copious amounts of water.”
