Dubai is known for it’s “go big, or go home” attitude. Case and point: the emirate is home to the world’s tallest building, the world’s largest mall, the world’s largest fountain, just to name a few.

Adding to that list, Dubai will once again break records in 2024, this time with the world’s largest beach club.

Beach days are about to have a whole new meaning with the opening of Sirene by GAIA. According to Arabian Business, the beach club will span over 9,000 square metres, set to make it the largest beach club globally.

Slated for a September opening, the new beach haven will feature over 400 sunbeds, pools, cabanas and large dining spaces, all paired with exceptional Mediterranean cuisine which Gaia is known for.

The new beach club, which will be located at the newly developed J1 Beach in Jumeirah, comes six years after Gaia first opened its doors in DIFC under the Fundamental Hospitality (previously Bulldozer Group) umbrella and it’s a project which founder and CEO, Evgeny Kuzin, is particularly proud of.

“It’s taken us over a year just to do the design,” he told Arabian Business. “We’ve taken our time, but the outcome is going to be really special.”

Since its 2018 launch in Dubai, Gaia has grown to be Fundamental Hospitality’s most successful restaurant brand. The Greek-Mediterranean eatery now operates out of Doha, Monte Carlo and London. with more locations to soon be unveiled.

“GAIA is probably one of the best-performing restaurants in Dubai today,” Kuzin affirmed. “People coming to visit Dubai try to get reservations to try it because this brand is not found in many places around the world and we’re very excited about this success because everybody really loves it and the product is fantastic.”
