Yasmeen Jisri, founder of Bake My Day, turned her love for nostalgic desserts into a thriving business. Raised in Saudi Arabia, she found comfort in cookies and brownies, a passion that followed her through her studies in the UK and into the corporate world. But a 9-to-5 job in insurance couldn’t compete with her obsession for the perfect cookie. Driven by her fascination with food aesthetics and a desire to share joy through desserts, Yasmeen began experimenting with recipes after work, refining her craft and posting mouthwatering photos on Instagram. Bake My Day started as a one-woman operation, fuelled by organic growth and word of mouth. Without involving family or friends initially, she captured the hearts – and taste buds – of strangers who quickly became loyal customers. When her husband’s job moved the family to Dubai, Yasmeen brought Bake My Day with her, rebuilding her customer base from scratch. Through grit and an unwavering commitment to quality, she expanded Bake My Day into a recognized brand while balancing entrepreneurship with motherhood. With a hands-on approach and meticulous attention to detail, Yasmeen now envisions Bake My Day becoming a household name across the GCC. The founder and entrepreneur shares her daily entrepreneurial journey with detailed day in the life videos on TikTok.
