Bringing you all the details, GRAZIA shares everything you need to know about the latest iPhone 16.
The Series

Introducing the series with its classic lineup, you can expect iPhone builds such as the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max in the market each with varying prices and specifications.
- iPhone 16 starts from Dhs3,399
- iPhone 16 Plus starts from Dhs3,799
- iPhone 16 Pro starts from Dhs4,299
- iPhone 16 Pro Max starts from Dhs5,099
All New Chip: The A18
Adding to their roster of innovative chips, Apple introduced the A18. Jumping two generations from the A16 in the iPhone 15, the A18, coined as “Superfast, Supersmart,” this chip promises improved performance and energy efficiency, solidifying Apple’s place at the forefront of mobile processing power.
An Improved Battery Life
Battery life has been boosted, with efficiency improvements adding up to two extra hours of usage compared to the iPhone 15. The iPhone 16 Plus now supports up to 27 hours of video playback, while the iPhone 16 clocks in at up to 22 hours. For those constantly on the go, faster 25W MagSafe charging gets you to 50 per cent in just 30 minutes, though you’ll need the new MagSafe Charger to take advantage of this upgrade.
New Camera System

An exciting addition for camera enthusiasts is the all-new Camera Control button, which functions similarly to a DSLR’s shutter button. Touch and pressure-sensitive, this button offers a quick way to launch the camera, take photos, capture videos, and adjust camera settings on the fly. Third-party apps can also utilise this button for added functionality.
Looking ahead, this feature will be integral to Apple’s new visual intelligence, which allows the camera to recognise objects and places in real-time. By pointing your camera at a landmark or object, you can get detailed information with just a tap. Imagine learning a restaurant’s hours and menu just by aiming your iPhone.
Upgraded Ultra Wide Camera
The iPhone 16 introduces a 48-megapixel Fusion camera with 2x optical-quality Telephoto zoom, essentially giving you two cameras in one. Apple also introduces a 12-megapixel Ultra Wide camera with autofocus and macro photography support. This new setup captures up to 2.6x more light, offering stunning low-light performance. Moreover, the vertical camera arrangement allows for the capture of spatial photos and videos that can be viewed with the Apple Vision Pro.
The Audio Mix
For videographers, the iPhone 16 offers Spatial Audio for an immersive sound experience when using AirPods or Vision Pro. There’s also the new Audio Mix feature, which allows users to tweak the sound post-capture to prioritise voices or create surround sound effects. A wind noise reduction tool ensures that audio captured outdoors is crisp and clear.
Photography styles
Apple’s next-generation Photographic Styles lets users adjust color, highlights, and shadows in real-time. These adjustments can be applied selectively to specific colours, allowing granular control of effects either during a live preview or after a photo is taken.
