The Ambani family’s most extravagant celebrations are in full swing, and the much-anticipated second pre-wedding celebration officially starts tomorrow, May 29, 2024.
After their first pre-celebration event in March, which featured a lavish party where Rihanna performed exclusively for the couple, the Ambani family left spectators wondering what would happen next.
Following weeks of speculation, it became clear that an Ambani wedding celebration is never a single event. After the success in Jamnagar, Gujarat, we now witness another luxury spectacle for the youngest Ambani and his fiancée, Radhika Merchant, who are set to marry in July 2024.
Ambani Pre-Wedding celebration: everything we know
This second pre-wedding event is being held on a luxurious cruise ship sailing from Italy to the South of France, featuring the most extravagant itinerary yet.
The space-themed cruise, titled La Vita E Un Viaggio (Life is a Journey), will last four days, concluding on June 1, 2024. The cruise ship will host about 800 guests, including billionaires and Indian A-list celebrities such as Alia Bhatt and Shah Rukh Khan, who were spotted at Mumbai’s private airport. There may be even more high-profile guests yet to be revealed.
Being the youngest Ambani, Anant’s celebration is naturally grand. The 4,380-kilometer journey is rumoured to involve 600 hospitality staff dedicated just for this prestigious event. And even boasting a brand new gift for the couple, the head of the family and founder of Reliance Industries, Mukesh Ambani, gifted a luxurious beachfront villa in Dubai’s Palm Jumeirah worth $77.3 million with a space of 3,000 square feet.
Radhika Merchant, who previously made headlines for wearing a custom Versace dress for her first pre-wedding event, will be donning a custom dress by Grace Ling, perfectly complementing the space theme. The exclusive dress is made using Aerospace Aluminum Technology, accentuating her galactic princess look.
Here is the La Vita E Un Viaggio Europe itinerary:
May 29: The celebration kicks off with a welcome lunch and set off from Palermo, followed by a ‘Starry Night’ gala where guests will dress in Western formals.
May 30: The day’s theme is ‘Roman Holiday.’ Guests will tour Rome dressed as stylish tourists and end the evening with a Greco-Roman ‘Toga Party.’
May 31: The itinerary includes various cruise activities, a masquerade ball in Cannes, and an after-party themed ‘Pardon My French.’
June 1: The final day, themed ‘La Dolce Vita’ (The Sweet Life), concludes the festivities in Portofino, Italy.
It’s set to be a truly elaborate affair and we can’t wait to see it.
