Model and author Emily Ratajkowski has just been named as the new face of Flowerbomb by Viktor & Rolf.

The iconic floral fragrance first launched in 2005, and quickly cemented its status as a best-seller. Described as an “explosion of a thousand flowers”, the scent marries notes such as rose, freesia, sambac jasmine and Indian osmanthus. Bright, delicious and wonderfully complex, the olfactive icon has remained a best-seller for the couture house 17 years on.

Ratajkowski is the perfect collaborator. “We’ve admired Emily Ratajkowski for a long time and we’re happy to welcome her to the Viktor&Rolf family,” founders and artistic directors Viktor Horsting and Rolf Snoeren shared on Instagram. “Emily’s multifaceted range of qualities, empower her to be the perfect embodiment of Flowerbomb.”

The accompanying campaign — which has been slowly rolling out via social media — is also a feast for the senses. Shot by Loïc Peoc’h, the visuals show Ratajkowsi swathed in pink tulle (a colour very similar to that of the iconic candy pink Flowerbomb vessel) and with a high ballerina bun.

Further images also show her pieces from the Viktor&Rolf  couture collection, including a in a while tulle skirt, embroidered bralette and candy stripped wrap shirt. In a word, she looks incredible.
